Visitor Guidelines: Modified Level Yellow

Effective March 1, 2021:

  • Patient Visitation is permitted between the hours of 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. & 4 - 8 p.m.
  • Inpatient: Only two dedicated visitors (assigned by the patient and listed in the health record) for each patient in inpatient areas during the entire stay. Both may attend at the same time or at separate times.
  • Clergy: Members of the clergy are permitted to visits patients, in addition to the two dedicated visitors specified by the patient.
  • Emergency Department (ED): Two dedicated visitors for each patient in the ED; however, space only allows one visitor at a time. Dedicated visitors may alternate. Visitors may not escort patients to the radiology department.
  • Surgery: Due to space constraints, only one visitor is allowed in the pre-operative area, and only after the patient has changed and has been assessed. Due to social distancing, there is no surgery waiting room.
  • Atlantic General Health System: No visitors are allowed to accompany patients to Atlantic General Health System physician offices or Atlantic ImmediCare urgent care clinics, due to lack of ample space to allow for social distancing.
  • Confirmed or suspected COVID-19: Visitation is not permitted for patients with confirmed or suspected COVID-19, except at the end of life, for pediatric patients or as allowed by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Effective April 26, 2021:

  • AGHRx RediScripts Pharmacy is open for walk-in services in addition to curbside pickup of medication. To request curbside service, please call 410-641-9240 upon arrival at the front entrance of the hospital.

Additionally, please note:

  • All visitors are screened at time of arrival, to include a few health questions and monitoring of temperature. Do not visit if you have a fever or any symptoms of COVID-19.
  • Visitors of inpatients agree to wear a badge with the patient’s room number written on the badge.
  • All visitors / guests must wear facemask at all times covering the nose and mouth. Bandanas are not approved face coverings.
  • All visitors must be at least 13 years old.
  • Dedicated visitors may not be exchanged for other persons during the stay.
  • All visitors must remain in the patient’s room. No visitor eating is permitted in the patient room.
  • Family waiting areas are not open for visitor use, as social distancing is not possible for all visitors. If a visitor must leave the patient’s room for treatment or testing, etc., the visitor will need to leave the hospital and return when allowed back into the patient’s room.
  • Wash hands and use hand sanitizer often, especially upon entry or exit from the patient’s room.
  • Please use the patient’s nurse call button to ask to talk with the nurse or physician/provider.
  • Please do not approach the nurse’s station to speak with the staff. We are glad to come to the patient room to answer any questions.
  • Respect the inpatient care area's dedicated “Quiet Time” between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., to allow our patients the ability to rest to promote optimal healing and recovery.
  • Food /beverage will only be available in our cafeteria to “carry out.” The Healthy Café (cafeteria) is located on the first level past the RediScripts pharmacy.

Doors open 10 a.m. - 8 p.m., 7 days a week

Our CARE values allow

  • a personal caregiver in accordance with ADA guidelines for all patients with intellectual, developmental and cognitive disabilities,
  • parents of a minor child, and
  • special arrangements for visitation of dying patients, with two visitors for a maximum of four hours
