Preparing for Your Visit

Pre-Certification

Certain services may require pre-approval from your health insurance company before they can be performed. Before your visit to the hospital, review your health plan’s booklet or call your insurance company to clarify your policy benefits and requirements. It is important for you to be aware of your plan’s pre-certification or authorization requirements in order to receive the full benefits allotted for services performed.

Co-Pays and Deductibles

If you have a co-pay or a deductible in your health insurance plan, it will be due at the time of service. Call your insurer with any questions.
