Hello everyone. Below are this month’s meeting times & dates. Pay attention to new details. Listed below are some interesting facts for the month of October, which is also “Liver Awareness month” & “Eat Better, Eat Together month” :

Surgical Nutrition Times:

*Please make every effort to keep your assigned dietitian appointment times so that we can document these visits & try to keep you each moving along in your program visits.

We will be resuming group nutrition visits. These are designed to give high quality nutrition education while accommodating many patients at once, due to the high volume of patients we have. Here is the schedule for the rest of the 2021 Calendar year:

October- 10/5 & 10/19

November- 11/2 & 11/16

December- 12/7 & 12/21

*Our front office staff may assign you to a group nutrition visit at their discretion, if you are in need of an appointment & other visit options are limited. Otherwise, please keep your individually scheduled dietitian visits.

Surgical & Non-Surgical Support Group Times:

*We are able to offer limited in-person support groups again! The schedule for all support groups is as follows:

1^st Wednesday in office from 12:00-12:30 *This is for Non-Surgical Patients.

2^nd Wednesday in office from 5:30-6:00 pm *This is for Surgical Patients.

3^rd Wednesday via Zoom from 12:00- 12:30 *This is for Non-Surgical Patients.

4^th Wednesday via Zoom from 7:00-7:30 pm *This is or Surgical Patients.

There will not be a meeting if there is a 5^th Wednesday in the month.

We have separated the surgical & non-surgical patients in an effort to offer enhanced program structure & consistency for each group of patients. No one will be penalized in any way for not participating in these. Simply attend when you are able to with your respective group.

Free Surgical Information Seminar Times:

We now offer the surgical seminar on-line as an alternative for those of you with busy schedules & transportation challenges. You will need to take the quiz at the end & pass with an 80% or better in order to make an appointment for a consultation with one of the surgeons. Once you have completed the quiz you can call to make an appointment. Please view the recorded session on-line. If unable to view the seminar on-line, we can schedule you for an in-person seminar information session if you prefer. If you opt for the in-person session, it will be scheduled as a billable visit.

We offer our non-surgical seminar on-line as well as the surgical one. You may view the seminar on-line if you wish to or attend the in-person seminar at the beginning of the month.
