Below are this month’s meeting times & dates:
Surgical Group Nutrition Times: *Please make sure you have at least one visit per month*
12/2/19- 8:45-10:00, 12/3/19- 2:45-4:00, 12/4/19- 2:45-4:00 (Pre-op class), 12/12/19- 8:45-10:00, 12/17/19- 11:45-1:00, 12/18/19- 8:45-10:00, & 12/26/19- 2:45-4:00..
Surgical Support Group Times: (AGH Hospital Cafeteria)*You may attend a similar type of support group or Walk With A Doc event instead of a surgical support group. Ask Amy, Amanda, or Angela for details.*
12/11/19- 5:30 pm
***There will NOT be a support group on 12/25/19 due to the Christmas holiday***
Free Surgical Information Seminar Times:
We now offer the surgical seminar on-line as an alternative for those of you with busy schedules & transportation challenges. Go to: https://www.atlanticgeneral.org/Our-Services/Bariatric-Weight-Loss-Services/Attend-a-Webinar.aspx to view this. You will need to take the quiz at the end & pass with an 80% or better in order to make an appointment for a consultation with one of the surgeons. Once you have completed the quiz you can call to make an appointment. We will still offer one seminar in person each month (with the exception of January) for those of you who may prefer that option. Insurance & clinical requirements will be discussed during these seminars. The in-person seminar will usually be at 1:00 pm in the surgical office on the 1st Monday of the month. In December it will be on 12/2/19.
Non-Surgical Support Group Times:
Tuesday evenings 12/3/19 (Virtual Meeting- details to follow via e-mail), 12/10/19 (In-person in office), & 12/17/19 (In-person in office.) All Tuesday evening groups will start at 5:00 (whether virtual or in person) & end by 5:30-5:45, depending on discussion*
***There will NOT be support groups on 12/24/19 or 12/31/19 due to the Christmas & New Year holidays***
Wednesday afternoons 12/4/19, 12/11/19, & 12/18/19 (In-person in office)
*All Wednesday afternoon groups will start at 12:00 & end by 12:30-12:45, depending on discussion*
***There will NOT be support groups on 12/25/19 or 1/1/20 due to the Christmas & New Year holidays***

*Walk With A Doc events which are held every 3rd Saturday & have moved from Ocean Pines to Downtown Berlin. The next one is 12/21/19 at 9:00 am. These will be in downtown Berlin. We will meet at the bench in front of the Town Hall & walk the 1- mile route.
