Intensive Care Unit

Our medical staff members work closely with family physicians and specialists to evaluate the medical status and develop treatment plans for each patient in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit. The care of the nurses and two intensivist physicians in our intensive care unit in complemented by the the Maryland eCare remote monitoring system.

Atif Zeeshan, M.D., Pulmonologist

Atif Zeeshan, M.D. completed his Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Fellowship at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, and completed an internship at Dow Medical College and Civic Hospital in Karachi, Pakistan. Dr. Zeeshan completed his Internal Medicine residency at Temple University’s Samaritan Program. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Critical Care and Pulmonology, and is board-eligible for Sleep Medicine.

Vikas Sayal, M.D. Dr. Sayal completed Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowships at Yale New Haven Health System in Bridgeport, CT and Montefiore Medical Center in New York City, as well as his residency at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ. Dr. Sayal is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the American College of Chest Physicians and the American Thoracic Society. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine.
