Father Leo bio
Fr. Leo draws on his incredibly diverse background– he holds third degree black belts in Tae Kwon Do and Arnis, a form of full-contact stick fighting. He speaks multiple languages, is a singer-songwriter and an award-winning breakdancer. He has also taught high school speech, debate, and drama.
Drawing from his passion for food and fellowship, Fr. Leo founded Grace Before Meals, a nationwide movement that promotes the importance of family dinners by encouraging parents and children to prepare and enjoy meals together.
Visions Advisory Committee Mission of the Vision Program
The Visions for Total Health Advisory Committee consists of more than 20 members and includes health specialists and coalition partners. The committee meets monthly to address community needs and interests, plan and implement programs, and evaluate responses and results.
The mission of the Visions for Total Health Program is to assess community health educational needs and major health concerns in our community, to create and plan an educational program that appropriately addresses these, and to evaluate their effectiveness in reaching our institutional mission at Atlantic General Hospital to improve individual and community health.
