River Run Golf Club Holds 4th Annual 5K Run/Walk and Kiddie K to Benefit Atlantic General Hospital

On Saturday, September 26, 2009, River Run Golf Club & Community will hold its fourth annual River Run 5K Run/Walk and Kiddie K, benefiting the Atlantic General Hospital Foundation.

The course, which is sanctioned by Tri-Sports Road Runners Club as part of the Trisports Events Ultimate Challenge Series, takes participants through scenic River Run on the St. Martin River in Berlin.

The entry fee is $20 until September 19 and $25 thereafter up to and including race day. Youth under age 18 can register for $10. The Kiddie K, for those 8 and under, is free. Participants who raise $100 or more receive a free entry.

T-shirts and post-race food and beverages are provided to the runners and walkers. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place winners as well as the top fundraising individual and team. Registration begins at 7 a.m.., and the Kiddie K begins at 7:55 a.m. with the Run/Walk scheduled for 8 a.m.
