River Run 5K Raises $4,000 for Atlantic General Hospital

Berlin, Md. – Ocean City’s River Run Golf Club closed the course early last Sunday, June 11 to host the River Run 5K Run/Walk and Kiddie K, benefiting the Atlantic General Hospital Foundation. The event brought out 71 supporters and associates, raising $4,000 for the hospital. The overall male winner was Mike Tigani, and the overall female winner was Atlantic General Hospital Junior Auxiliary Group member Karen Clayland. Lew Meltzer, owner of River Run Development Associates (right), presents the check to Atlantic General Hospital President and CEO Michael Franklin, who placed third overall in the 5K.
