LOCAL PHYSICIAN CHOSEN FOR PATIENTS’ CHOICE RECOGNITION

Berlin, Md. – Dr. Danielle Orr, a family practice physician at Atlantic General Health System’s Ocean Pines Primary Care and Women’s Health, was recently honored with a Patients’ Choice recognition.  This recognition is collected from a variety of online resources designed to rate physicians, among them Vitals.com, RightHealth.com, and Google.com.  Patients are able to rate a physician on various components such as bedside manner, doctor-patient face time, degree of follow-up, courtesy of office staff, and overall opinion. In 2008, only five percent of 720,000 active physicians were recognized with this honor.

Family practitioner Danielle Orr, M.D., recently joined the medical staff as a primary care provider for the Atlantic General Health System. Orr is a graduate of the Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Va., where she served as an executive member of the student government. After graduation, she completed a residency at Reading Hospital and Medical Center in Reading, Pa. Orr is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
