Berlin, Md.- Atlantic General Hospital was recently awarded a $2,500.00 grant by the Gannett Foundation to help in the purchase of preventive medicine brochures. Through this grant and other funds, Atlantic General Hospital will purchase eight thousand brochures on the topics of diabetes, high blood pressure, weight control and tobacco. These brochures will be distributed through Atlantic General Hospital’s Visions for Total Health program at local fairs, health screenings, health education programs, and other community events.
