Atlantic General Hospital Plans an Evening of Cocktails and Hors D'oeuvres for 15th Anniversary Celebration

Atlantic General Hospital’s Anniversary Gala will be held at the waterfront home of John “Jack” Burbage, Jr. on Thursday, May 15 from 6:30 to 9:00 PM. The celebration will mark fifteen years since the hospital first opened its doors.

Atlantic General Hospital and Health System has grown and evolved tremendously since that day, now providing area residents and visitors with specialized wound care, women’s health, joint surgery and GI services as well as access to more than 160 family practitioners and specialists. The hospital’s state of the art emergency room recently marked the hugely successful one year anniversary of its 30 minute ER promise.

The 15th anniversary event will celebrate the hospital’s accomplishments and the community’s support throughout the years. Since the hospital’s conception in the 1993, there has been an outpouring of support from local residents and businesses. The latest incarnation of this community support is the James G. Barrett medical office building, which celebrated its grand opening on April 11.

Marlin Moon Grille of Ocean City will cater the event, and floral arrangements will be provided by Beyond Flowers. Beverages will be provided courtesy of Fager’s Island. The Anniversary Celebration, sponsored by Kelly Foods, is open to the public. Advanced reservations are required.
