Atlantic General Hospital Adds Neurologist to Health System of Providers

Dr. Preeti Yonker now seeing patients in Berlin

Atlantic General Hospital recently announced the addition of neurologist Preeti Yonker, M.D., to the Atlantic General Hospital/Health System Medical Staff. The hospital recruited Yonker to the Atlantic General Health System network of providers as part of their mission to further improve access to specialized care in Worcester County.

Yonker earned her medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine before going on to a neurology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. She also completed a clinical fellowship in neurophysiology at Henry Ford.

In addition to her training in general neurology care, including headache and migraine management and treatment of lower back pain, stroke, neuropathy, dementia, multiple sclerosis and other neurological diseases, Yonker holds a subspecialty in epilepsy.

Her specialized background will give her patients on the Shore access to the best treat options for epilepsy as well as help them better manage the disease through every stage of life.
