AGH PARTNERS WITH OCEAN PINES ASSOCIATION FOR HEALTH FAIR

Atlantic General Hospital’s Visions for Total Health Program is collaborating with the Ocean Pines Association Communications Advisory Committee to offer a new health fair to the community. The event will be held September 18, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., in the Ocean Pines Community Center on Ocean Parkway.

Atlantic General Hospital will be providing various health-related screenings, including lab testing for cholesterol, glucose (12 hour fast required) and PSAs (for men), hearing screenings, foot checks and bone density mini-exams. Information on other health and personal safety topics will also be available.

If you’ve ever wondered about fitness opportunities in Ocean Pines, this is your opportunity for “one stop shopping.” Many of the exercise groups will be represented at the event.

For Berlin and Ocean Pines residents, this is an opportunity to take advantage of free health services right in your back yard. For those a little further afield, it’s still a great opportunity to get a snapshot of your health and pick up some valuable tips along the way. All are welcome to attend, even those who are visiting the area. It promises to be a fun, informative morning.
