Atlantic General Hospital, your local not-for-profit hospital, has been providing quality health care for more than 19 years to the residents and visitors of Worcester, Wicomico, Somerset and Sussex counties. Thanks to the generosity of our dedicated community, Atlantic General has been able to invest in vital programs and services necessary to better serve you and your loved ones.
Gifts to the AGH Foundation Annual Appeal in recent years have been directed toward improvements in the coordination and quality of care through information technology. With the full implementation of the hospital’s Patient Electronic Record Keeping Service (PERKS) in early 2013, patients, families and caregivers will have peace of mind knowing that medical information is safe and secure in a complete, accurate, and permanent electronic hospital record.
Unrestricted gifts to the Foundation have offered AGH the flexibility to invest in additional areas. This year, the focus of our appeal is on supporting our mission to the community we serve rather than a specific initiative. Your gift to Atlantic General will help us continue to strengthen hospital programs, enhance our services and medical technologies, attract the best clinical staff, fund renovation projects, and maintain a healing environment in the coming year.
