This is an interactive six-week program that helps those with chronic pain discover how to lead a life less affected by their chronic pain. Our group is a 12 step program, adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous. We help anyone struggling with a compulsive eating problem, whether it is weight gain, bulimia, anorexia, or if you are a parent of a child with one of these problems. We will be meeting each Sunday in Conference Room 1 at Atlantic General Hospital. There is no initial meeting charge. Meeting contribution is $1.00 weekly. Atlantic General Hospital Stroke Center has established a stroke support group to provide a community based environment for stroke victims/survivors and caregivers on a monthly basis. We will provide physical and emotional support in a social setting for survivors and caregivers to share their personal experiences and challenges.
